A recent E-mail to Jim Edwards of "The Morning Report" on WJNO Radio in West Palm Beach:
Hey, Jim.
Long time, no talk.

Normally, I don't believe in coincidences, but this time is different. I own some apartments in Lake Worth. Last Monday there was an electrical fire in one of the units, some of the kitchen cabinets were burnt, the vent fan over the stove was fried and there was black, smelly soot everywhere. I have been a General Contractor here in Florida for 30 years, built and owned thousands of rental apartment units, but never in all that time, did I experience a fire in one of the units.
I called two contractor friends for a referral for a fire restoration company, but no one know of a reputable one they could offer me.
Friday morning I called Atlantic and spoke to one Dave Mason. He met me at the burnt apartment that morning @ 10:30.
By 1:30 Friday I had a written proposal emailed to my office. We discussed his proposal at great length, I awarded him the job and by 4:30 Friday he was back at the burnt apartment with a Hepa Air Scrubber, which is a machine that helps remove the airborne soot that was still being blown around by the air conditioning, and helps to purify the air in the apartment( I didn't mention that the family living there included two young children).
Saturday morning I was on my way to meet Dave and his crew, when I heard your interview w/him-the coincidence was mind-blowing(especially because I don't get to hear your Saturday show very often). Dave arrived @ 8:30 Sat. morning with a crew of four people and a whole slew of machinery and materials to put the apartment back together again.
Dave stayed at the job the entire day, ensuring everything was done properly and professionally, as we discussed from his proposal. After I left the job, he still called me twice that day to give me progress reports.
They were back on the job Sunday morning to complete the restoration of the apartment and were finished by early this afternoon.
I inspected the apartment w/Dave and the tenants upon completion and am happy to say they , as well as myself, were 100% satisfied with their work. There was absolutely no smell of a fire and the apartment was left cleaner than what it was before the fire.
I plan to have Dave come to my home to get on the "disaster" list as you discussed in your interview w/him, in case I receive any damage to my home in the event of storm damage.

I would highly recommend Atlantic Restoration to anyone who may need their services and I hope he receives a lot of business from him being on your radio program.

As you well know it is difficult here in Florida to find good, reliable, friendly and professional service companies-Atlantic is one of the rare exceptions.

Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
